With over 25 years of experience in community services - including education, disability, and culturally responsive care - I offer compassionate, individualised support that promotes well-being, safety, and belonging across home, school, and community environments.
A cactus, with its sharp spines, represents the emotional defenses we build to protect ourselves. But beneath that tough exterior, a beautiful flower can bloom, showing how growth happens when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable. Like caring for a cactus, it takes patience to gently soften our defenses and let our true selves shine.
Are you feeling unsure about how to support your child’s emotional or behavioural needs - especially with long waitlists for assessments and specialist support? I see how hard you are working, and I want you to know: you don’t have to wait to start making a difference.
Maybe your child is showing signs of ADHD or Autism - even without a formal diagnosis. That’s okay. You don't need a diagnosis to begin offering the right support.
I work with families in a neuro-affirming way, recognising that every child experiences the world differently - and that difference is not a deficit. My role is to help you and your child feel more connected, more supported, and more empowered.
Here is how I can support you and your child:
✔ Co-regulation and emotional support strategies
✔ Mindfulness and body-awareness techniques
✔ Visual schedules and supportive routines
✔ Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
✔ Support with communication and social interaction
✔ Individualised, strengths-based strategies tailored to your child
I believe in working with children - not trying to “fix” them. Early support that honours their needs and celebrates their strengths can make all the difference.
I am currently offering a free 30-minute consultation to explore how I can best support you and your child.
Let’s take the first step together. Reach out when you're ready—I’m here to help.
At Devoted Counselling & Support Services, I provide counselling and support for individuals from a range of social, cultural, and lived experiences - including people living with disability, those in Out-of-Home Care (OoHC), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and individuals facing social disadvantage or navigating the impacts of family breakdown, trauma, or instability. I offer culturally safe care that respects identity, connection to Country, and community.
I work in collaboration with families, carers, and key agencies - including Schools, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), and Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) - to ensure individuals receive support that reflects their unique needs and lived experiences.

Home Visits
Understanding that some families may feel more comfortable in their own space, I offer home visits for counselling sessions. This allows us to create a supportive atmosphere and engage with family dynamics in a natural setting.
School Visits
I collaborate with local schools to provide on-site counselling sessions. School visits aim to help students address emotional and behavioural challenges in a familiar environment, fostering positive relationships with peers and educators.
Private Counselling Sessions
Each participant receives a personalised support plan tailored to their unique needs and goals - whether through direct therapy sessions, family involvement, psychoeducation, or a combination of these approaches.
I offer counselling sessions at the Mornington office on Mondays and Tuesdays, and at St Macartan’s Parish office on Fridays.

Thank you for sticking with me! Because of you I learnt how to have a voice and really have a red hot go at explaining what was going on. You made someone with a rock bottom self-esteem glad to be them. I hope so much to be able to work alongside you one day and learn how to be such an incredible, professional person.
Thank you so much
In the one session and following the information you gave me and explained - Participant has had an amazing fortnight. Their educators at daycare have even commented on this.
